Mifflin vs Harris?
Mifflin–St Jeor is newer and more accurate and is now widely adopted; Harris–Benedict is older.
Activity factors?
Sedentary 1.2, light 1.375, moderate 1.55, high 1.725, very high 1.9.
Weight-loss calories?
TDEE − 500 is about 0.5 kg/week (7,700 kcal ≈ 1 kg of fat). Do not go below BMR.
How accurate?
